SAS Licensing
SAS is available free-of-charge to BSOS faculty. To schedule an install, please open a work order.
Students taking a course that requires SAS may use SAS OnDemand, a no-cost Internet based version of SAS. To use this software, your instructor MUST register his/her class with SAS, and you must create a profile to access the system.
For graduate students enrolled in a graduate program located at the University of Maryland, College Park, DivIT sells both full installs of SAS as well as renewal licenses. To purchase a full install, please visit: https://terpware.umd.edu/Windows/Title/2510
STAT/Transfer Licensing
Faculty and students can purchase their own copy of Stat/Transfer directly from the vendor website.
Departments may purchase a user license with a departmental Visa card, or may decide to reimburse purchasers. OACS can assist with the installation of the software only on University owned devices. To schedule an install, please open a work order.
SPSS Licensing
SPSS is available free-of-charge for installs on University owned computers only. To schedule an install, please open a work order. Please note that OACS and the Division of IT do NOT support personal purchases of SPSS. To purchase SPSS for student use, please visit the SPSS TerpWare site at terpware.umd.edu.
STATA Licensing
Faculty and students can purchase their own copy of the Stata software directly from Stata's website.
